Terms of Service
1. Who this is for
The Private Line is offered to adults (18+) seeking private, asynchronous written counsel on personal matters. By creating an account or purchasing a credit you confirm you are of age and entering this agreement of your own free will.
2. What this is — and what it isn't
Responses are offered for reflection, perspective, and decision support. They are not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice and are not a substitute for licensed professional care. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis line in your region.
3. How it works
One credit purchases one focused matter and one considered written response, delivered to your private inbox within the response window of your selected tier. The channel is asynchronous and one-directional — there is no live chat and no back-and-forth thread.
4. Credits & expiry
Credits expire on the timeline shown at purchase (typically 7–45 days). Expired credits are forfeited. Memberships, when offered, may include recurring credits that follow the membership's own renewal cadence.
5. Refunds
Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits that have been used to deliver a response are non-refundable, as the work is performed at submission. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Your conduct
You agree to write your matter truthfully and to use the channel for personal reflection only. Submissions threatening harm to yourself or others, demanding information about third parties without consent, or attempting to extract advice we do not offer, may be declined and the credit returned at our sole discretion.
7. Privacy
Your submissions are read only by the practitioner and any narrowly-scoped assistant required to deliver service. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse the channel, or attempt fraudulent payment.
9. Changes
Material changes to these terms will be announced via email and posted here with an updated date.
